So in June we head to Disney with my son’s dance company to perform at Disney World.  Because my daughter is a cast member, we reserved the resort through her discount rather than through the company’s hotel arrangements.  We received our booklet today:

Kind of fun to receive a specialized book just for us, but it did have some helpful things that others going in June may want to know.  Besides confirming the hotel, confirmation number and check in date, it did give some tidbits about how to work the magicband and the website to customize your magic band now:

It also encouraged us to join My Disney, which we already are part of because we attended the park in October

It gave explanations on how to use our magic band to access the resort and fast passes.  In addition it gave a short summary of Pop Century, including what restaurants are located in the resort

If you can’t read that picture, it states the Grab-N-Go Market (pastries and fresh fruit in the morning, veggies and ice cream later in the day), Pizza and Pasta Shop (Italian style food features breakfast selections as well as pizza and fresh sandwiches), Grill Shop (fluffy french toast in the morning, Angus burgers and chicken nuggets later in the day), Ethnic Shop (hearty breakfast platters and wraps, Mom’s night out dinner), Sandwich and Salad Shop (POP waffles with fruit for breakfast, savory soup, salads and flatbreads later), Pop Art Pizza Deliver (order fresh pizza, sides and desserts nightly from 4pm- midnight)

It gave information about extended theme park hours, complimentary transportation and guest service

So what’s next for us is to customize our bands, and it gave our important dates:

  • December 12, 2016 – book your dining
  • April 11, 2017 Disney fastpass reservations
  • April 11, 2017 Begin online check in
  • June 10, 2017 start your incredible vacation!

So being the weirdo I am, what did I do?  Typed up a good portion of the possible dining options to reserve.  Now, admittingly, I don’t have everything here, but I have a good portion of the restaurants
